Tired of Your Phone Being Your Overlord? Same.

Let's be brutally honest. Your phone, that glowing rectangle of endless possibility (and perpetual distraction), has probably taken over your life. You know it. I know it. We've all been there, scrolling at 2 AM, answering emails from the bathroom, feeling that gut-punch of guilt for not responding to a message from three seconds ago. It’s a special kind of hell, isn't it? Your brain, bless its overstimulated heart, wasn’t exactly built for 300 notifications before breakfast.

I wrote Logged Out because I hit a wall. One particularly glorious evening, after another full day of feeling like my attention span had been whittled down to a gnat’s, I realized I’d just spent an hour watching videos of competitive thumb wrestling. An hour. An hour that could have been spent, I don’t know, blinking? Reading a book that wasn’t illuminated by a screen?

The point is, I was done. Done with the dopamine-addled brain screaming for another scroll. Done with the endless tabs. Done feeling like a half-present zombie in my own life.

This isn't some fluffy "just unplug and touch grass" manifesto. I'm not going to tell you to toss your phone into the ocean (tempting, I know ).

This is a punchy, practical roadmap for breaking up (at least a little) with the screen that stole your focus, your sleep, and your last shred of inner peace. We’ll talk about setting boundaries that don’t feel like medieval punishment and how to actually enjoy a conversation without wondering where your phone is. Because the world, shockingly, will still be there when you stop refreshing. And it might even be a bit nicer.
