You’re Not Lazy. You’re Not Broken. You’re Burnt the Hell Out.

Let’s get this straight: if you’re neurodivergent, chances are you’ve been running on fumes while expertly pretending everything’s fine. Spoiler alert: it’s not. And you, my friend, are not lazy, and you are definitely not broken. You're just... burnt.

I wrote Reclaiming Calm because I lived this. For a long time, I thought my perpetual exhaustion, my emotional overwhelm, and my tendency to mask my way through meltdowns was just… life. Or worse, a personal failing. It wasn't until I stumbled across the stark reality of neurodivergent burnout that things clicked. The "light a candle and manifest wellness" advice wasn't cutting it because my brain wasn't built for the grind in the first place.

This book is for the overwhelmed, the emotionally fried, and the ones constantly masking. It’s a practical, sarcastic, and deeply validating roadmap for understanding what burnout really looks like for autistic, ADHD, and otherwise "spicy" brains. We'll dive into the science behind your overloaded nervous system and give you coping strategies that don't suck (and actually work). Think CBT tools, nervous system hacks, and sensory survival kits.

This is your burnout exit plan. No toxic positivity. No patronizing checklists. Just honest help from someone who truly gets it.
